Clash of Queens is a fantasy slot , with a few fairy tales thrown into the mix. There are two queens, The Red Queen and the White Queen, who battle for supremacy over the enchanted forest. There are other fairy tale characters thrown into the mix, such as humpty dumpty.

Developer

Clash of Queens was developed by Genesis Gaming. They are not the biggest names in slots, but have been making games for a while.

Since their immergence into the market in 2008, they have released a modest amount of title, but fallen short of a blockbuster slot. Their games have quality graphics and gameplay. But have quite low jackpots and the average RTP percentage is lower than what other companies are offering.

Design

Clash of Queens in a five reel slot. The game has an enchanted forest background, with the silhouette of a castle in the distance. The background is animated into motion, there is a slight rustle to the leaves and one falls from the tree, every once in a while.

The overall dark feel to the slot, gives the game an edge of mystique, which is very appropriate considering the theme. Genesis gaming, have decided to include a parallax effect in this title. A parallax, is an animation that moves a background around, as the player moves the cursor. The panel is not confined to the bottom of the reels, but split in half and placed on either side of the reels. The Spin Button is located on the right hand side of the reels, and all other game controls are found on the left

How to Play

Clash of Queens has 25 paylines, which play left to right. The player places their bet before each spin, to have it take effect next time they spin the reels.

The reel are spun by pressing the Spin Button, on the right of the reels. Clash of Queen, has restrictive betting options, which only allows the player to alter the amount of paylines they bet on. This means that the player must play the highest bet to have all the payline count as wins. All the winning paylines, of a spin are added together to make the player’s total win.

Special Features

Clash of Queens has its share of special features. They are based on the theme, and more specifically the clash between the Red Queen and the White Queen. When the Red Queen and White Queen Symbols, appear on opposite sides of the reels, it triggers the Clash of Queens Battle Feature.

This is feature, does not reward the player by itself, but unlocks rewards for, and decides which bonus game the player, will play. In the Clash of Queens Battle, the player has to choose one of the queens. The queen which the player selected, determines the bonus game which will play. Before, the player is permitted to try their hand at that bonus game the queens will battle. If the queen which the player selected goes on to win the clash, then the player is rewarded with added features in the next round.

The Red Queen Feature is a free spins game, in which wins will be paid at the initial value of the bet that triggered it. The Red Queen will spin Wilds onto the reel, and can turn all reels Wild, except the first one. If the Red Queen was picked, and wins then the player is rewarded 8 free spins, in a free spins game. If the White Queen won, but the Red Queen was picked, the player only has 4 free spins to play with.

The White Queen feature is a pick and choose game. The player choses between pieces on a chessboard. Each piece has under it either a winning value, to add to the player bankroll, or the “collect” If the player revels the “collect”, the game ends and all the players’ winnings are rewarded. The game will also stop. If the White Queen was picked, and wins then the player is rewarded a 4x multiplier, in the pick and choose game. If the Red Queen won, but the White Queen was picked, the player winnings are not multiplied.

Maximum Payout

The highest value five in a row symbols are the Red Queen and White Queen, who are both worth 750 coins. This would not be the highest possible win, as winning over multiple paylines, will win the player more.
