What We like
We like most aspects of this games design. It has one well to capture the spirit of carnival. The background image is of feathered performers dancing down the streets, as fireworks explode above their head. Samba Carnival, has some welcome features with big winning potential. The game has multiplying wilds, which increase the players win, by a factor between two and five. We like our multiplying wilds, because they are a feature that both creates wins and adds to them. We found multiplying wilds common, when playing the game. The multiplying wild is the Maracas Symbol, and they display the multiplier on the symbol.

This game differs, in that its paylines, are not conventional left to right variety. You win by landing three or more adjacent symbols, anywhere on the paylines. This means that, while the game only has fifteen paylines, you will still win frequently.
What We Do Not Like
We do not want to be too harsh. The graphics are not bad, but they are nothing special. The panel is cluttered. We get that the round buttons are in the spirit of carnival, but it has not worked. Play’ N Go needed to do a little better with the aesthetics.
Even with the unique payline system, rewarding wins for all matching symbols on adjacent reels, we feel that more than 15 paylines would improve this game. We do not like variable lines. You have to bet max to unlock all the paylines, which is a bit frustrating if you do not have the desire or the bankroll, to high roll. We much prefer games, in which you can adjust the size of your bet and still bet on all paylines.
Is the game worth playing?
Samba Carnival, is a good game. It is not the best game you are likely to play, but is good to try something new. The game has big winning potential. The wilds were a big plus for us, and they work well with the payline system. We found that we won big and frequently.
It is a nice looking game, again not the best. We this that Play ‘N Go could have made some smarter design choices, but it does not look bad. If you are waiting out for the best slot, then this is not it. However, if you are looking for a slot that performs, is nothing special but fun to play, then Samba Carnival is your game.
