What We love

What we Do not Like

The pay table is a bit weak with a 25 x bet payout for 5 Mexican muchacos with a wild on a pay line. These symbols don’t come stacked on the reels, so even with 4 wild reels and one of these ombres on the first reel you can’t win the full payout possible across all pay lines.

The background music while the reels spin is almost endemic to Lightning Box and has been annoying players even since the company came out on the market. We really hope someone from the company will read our reviews and change it in their future slot releases.

Worth Playing?

One detail that was bothering us as we were spinning the reels  is the variance of the slot. We have no idea if Chilli Gold x2 is a low, mid or high variance video slot game because it has all characteristics combined.

Base play wins are small to medium, but can go over 100 x bet. If it’s a highly volatile game our balance was suppose to drop fast and the bonus round should be hard to trigger. But it was quite the contrary.

The bonus rounds came often and we had a few 100 x bet wins leaving us in a decent plus. Mega wins are possible in the bonus round with 4 wild reels and doubled wins, as well as in the random jackpot game.
