Player Wins First World Series of Poker Bracelet

The player Frank Gary won a sum of $219,562 and his first World Series of Poker bracelet. Gary hit a lot of luck when he was able to defeat Jonathan Tamayo.

In the first part Nick Binger was all set to defeat the competition and prove to all the others that he was more than just Michael Binger’s younger brother. But when he was just close to winning his first bracelet, he failed to hold his nerve and finished in third place. Now it was Tamayo and Gary’s turn to battle for supremacy.

Tamayo played some of the best poker one could have seen all day. But in the end he could not stand up to the winner who was shipping pot after pot, and finally he lost the bracelet, to Gary.

Nick Binger controlled the final table from the time it started. He was second in chips after Day 2 but he took a powerful lead. He won pot after pot with min-raises, and the announcer mistakenly called him by his brothers name.

In the next 2 and half hours he took out 6 players, but he lost the lead and the runners up were cutting into his lead, and having played for five hours he lost to Jonathan Tamayo.

In the final match up Tamayo started with a dominant chip lead, but the winner quickly caught up with him to make it a genuine match. At the end Tamayo was finally crippled when he lost his nerve and the winner caught a runner-runner full house to take most of Jonathan’s chips.
