They are a British-American cruise line company based in Southampton, England and have been owned by the Carnival Corporation since 2011. The Cunard Line consists of three luxury cruise ships, all of which are registered in Bermuda, and all of which offer casino gaming facilities.
The Queen Mary 2 was built in 2004 and has been the flagship of the Cunard Line ever since. It is the only passenger ship left that operates as an ocean liner. The casino is only open once the cruise ship has left UK territorial waters, which usually takes about 45 minutes after departure. Being an ocean liner, the Queen Mary II offers transatlantic voyages where the casino is open for almost the entirety of the journey.

On the second deck, towards the Royal Court Theatre, you will find the casino just past the Grand Lobby (Lower). The dress code is casual and as long as you are wearing normal clothes and shoes you will be allowed access. They do, however, not allow guests to visit the casino if they are still wearing their bathing attire or nightgowns.
FOOD & BEVERAGES
If you’re travelling aboard the The Queen Mary II you definitely will not have to worry about any food or drinks. There are so many bars and restaurants spread out across the ship that you’ll struggle to find something you don’t like. These restaurants all offer different dining experiences, with a la carte, buffet, and set menus all available. Depending on the cruise package you selected, you will be entitled to certain meals without needing to pay. Most of the buffets are included in the standard options but for the a la carte menus you may have to pay extra.
The closest restaurant to the casino is on the same floor. The Brittania restaurant has two floors, a lower and an upper dining area. The lower area can be accessed from Deck 2 if you exit out the back of the casino. There are plenty of tables and they offer a wide selection of a la carte dining options. One floor above the casino you’ll find the rest of the Britannia Restaurant as well as the Queen’s Room. This is one of the more sophisticated dining options and the shop with a great selection of foods and wines to choose from.
If you’re looking for something to drink while at the casino you will need to ask one of the staff or you can just walk next door yourself to The Golden Lion Pub. This is a signature bar on all Cunard Cruises that offers a comfortable environment to drink, eat pub food, and watch some HD TV sporting action. The Champagne Bar on Deck 3 is where you’ll go if you prefer a glass of bubbly, with the largest selection of Champagnes and Sparkling Wines on the ship.

Every day is filled with countless special events to keep their guests entertained and this is excluding all the amenities already available. Live music, guest speakers, and even ‘How to make a cocktail’ tutorials, there is something for everyone on this ship.They have a separate art gallery that also has experts to give you some information on what you should look.
The Queen Mary II was also the first cruise liner to have its own planetarium, a great addition to visit at night when you’re far over the open ocean in the middle of the Atlantic.

How you’ll get to The Queen Mary II will depend entirely on what cruise you’ve selected. The different cruises all leave from different ports depending on their route. The main port of call is Southampton but they also sometimes begin their voyages from Hanover, North America, or South America.
Accommodation is available on the ship in the form of different cabins. After you’ve chosen your voyage you will then need to choose what room you want to stay in. There are 6 room options, each one more extravagant than the next. The Britannia Inside is the smallest room option available. The rest of the options are:

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Attractions are available on every deck. Starting on the second deck you will be able to visit the Illuminations Planetarium, the Casino, and the Royal Court Theatre. As you travel further up the ship you will be able to visit various restaurants, their art gallery, and their shopping quarters – which is home to many famous brands in the jewellery, clothing, and fragrance industries.
On the upper decks is where you’ll find their swimming pools, plenty of bars, their Jacuzzis, and also their solarium. There is also a library available for a more relaxing day spent reading.
