Intouch Games Rolls Out First Multi-Platform Slot Deployed via Unity Engine
Intouch Games Ltd a UK licensed manufacturer and well-known supplier of fixed odd betting terminals (FOBT) and other leisure machines, has rolled out its first multi-platform slot game at its mobile casino arm, mFortune. However, the new mobile slot offering entitled “Which Witch” is currently available to mFortune’s Android users only, but will also go live for iOS and desktop users within a month’s time.
Although the game has already been tested, the deployment of “Which Witch” using the Unity Engine is still in line with the company’s goal of improving the process of developing first-rate games that can be delivered to high-end devices using a single gaming engine. That way, the creation of a mobile offering can be completed at a faster pace, since the company’s main objective is to code only once, instead of creating a game application that is compatible only to a specific operating system.
Actually, the Unity Engine was originally developed by Unity Technologies in 2005 as a games development tool for Apple’s OS X. It later evolved into a game engine used for developing video games compatible across all types of gaming platforms, for desktop, console, web plugins or mobile devices.
James Goode, the head of marketing at mFortune claims, “The game is very different from what we did before and it was received very well by our community of players.”
About “Which Witch”
This new mobile offering is a 5-reel 15 payline video slot exclusive to mFortune customers only. The game features a progressive jackpot that requires hitting five (5) witch symbols on a live payline without the use of a WILD icon. Nonetheless, a winning combination that was formed through the help of a WILD symbol entitles the progressive bonus player to a win credit calculated with 300x multiplier.
The moon icon is the WILD symbol that can be used as substitute for other symbols except for the cauldron, the white witch and the logo symbols. If five (5) of the moon icon appears in an active payline, the bet placed for that particular spin will be multiplied by 2000.
Another special feature is the “Click Me”, which depicts a battle between the White Witch and the Green Witch. The appearance of two tiles bearing the “Which Witch” logo activates the special bonus round that gives players a chance of increasing their winnings. Clicking on the logo symbol that reveals a white witch, means the “Click Me” player will have higher paying multipliers, although getting the green witch symbol offers multiple multipliers via the bonus round’s wheel of fortune. However, the bonus round could end abruptly if a player lands on one of the “You Lose” symbol.
The Free Spin round awards 3 to 10 free reel spinning motions and could be more as the free spin icons keep appearing. A lucky player who lands on five (5) icons bearing the witch’s cauldron automatically receives 100 free spins.
