It is based around the classic nursery rhyme, Bar Bar Black Sheep. Microgaming has created a theme, but including all things sheep, like a cartoon style farm.

What We Like

We like the overall design of this game. It has a fun, upbeat feel to it. They have done well to capture the essence of the nursery rhyme. It is a clean, simple slot, which is nice to look at. The small animations make all the difference.

It seems like a lot of care and thought went into this slot, which is great because Microgaming have been coming out with some average titles, of late. We like the Bar Bar Black Sheep bonus feature. It was clever how they included the nursery rhyme into the song, but it is not an original Idea. Microgaming made a 3×5 slot, a long time ago.

They are not afraid to reinvent a slot, and it is scores apart from the old game. Anyway, the nursery rhyme has been included for the bonus feature. When you land a Bar in reels one and two, then a Black Sheep, a multiplier is triggered.

These reels spin around numbers and come to rest on your multiplier. There is up to a 999x multiplier, if all of the three reels are filled with 9s. The games other feature is a free spins game, which does not differ from base gameplay, but has a 3x multiplier.

What we don’t like

There is no one thing that we dislike about this game. It could maybe do with a few more paylines, but some of our favourite games have less than twenty paylines.

We are a little bit defensive about this title, because we have made up our minds that it is going to be a good game. We are basing this off promotional material, but it looks to be a quality production.

Is this game worth playing?

Bar Bar Black Sheep looks like it is going to be a great game, and developers Microgaming have done well to make it so. After seeing some of the recent Microgaming titles, we were a bit worried about the company, but this title shows they are on the up.

It has some great features, and we are genuinely excited to see how this 999x multiplier works, especially in the free spins mode, which already has a 3x multiplier. The graphics and animations all look good, and the game is well themed. There really is not much we can fault with this title and we will consequently recommend it to anyone.
