Online Casino Games.com Awards Players Seats at World Series of Poker

The online casino Games.com which is a subsidiary of the giant America Online, has announced that it will award six lucky players seats to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event that will be held in Las Vegas later this year.

The site has announced that players can take part in free online no-limit Texas Hold’em tournaments until June 15. The top six players will be receiving their free entry for the July 3 event along with their travel paid within the United States.

Greg Mills, Director for AOL Games speaking about the promotion said, “Online poker has been and continues to be one of the most popular games online at our site.” He added, “We are thrilled to extend our agreement with Harrah’s License Company, the owners of the tournament, as it gives the players a chance to participate in a tournament that is every players dream. If the player plays correctly, he can walk off with a few million dollars.”

Games.com also mentioned that players who were taking part in the free daily qualifying tournaments could earn their way into the Sunday winner-takes-all tournament that was held every week. The winners of these events would receive a prize package that would entitle them to stay at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino and take part in the WSOP.

Jeffrey Pollack, Commissioner for the WSOP said in a statement, “The WSOP was excited to continue with its alliance with AOL, as it gave players who were above the age of 21 years to be part of poker history.”
