Online Casino Player Hits Two Bad Beat Jackpots
An online poker player from Alaska with the screen name ‘dhc2lovr’, was playing at the website Ultimate Bet, and hit the Bad Beat Jackpot twice within a time frame of less then three months.
Spokesperson for Ulitmate Bet, George MacLean said, “The website has continued to excite its members by giving them chances to win large sums of money at its Texas Hold’em tables.”
The player won Ultimate Bet’s Bad Beat Jackpot, when he lost with four tens and four queens at a hand of Texas Hold’em. The amount of money at the Bad Beat Jackpot had gone up to $448,920.71. The winner took home a sum of $145,899.23, while 117 other players shared a sum of $145,899.23. These 117 other players included the eventual winner of the hand who won a sum of $72,949.61.
In a review of the security carried out by the sites fraud department, the jackpot winner was found to be a regular player at the Texas Hold’em tables since December 2005. He enjoys an Ultimate Legend status, which is among the top layers of RAI$E, the sites profitable loyalty program. To maintain the Ultimate Legend status, the player must earn 2,500 RAI$E Status Points per month by playing online poker.
The jackpot winner said, “I had won a bad beat jackpot once and I saw no reason why I could not achieve it again.”
