PokerStars UKIPT Heads to Dublin This Week
The UKIPT is heading to Dublin this week, presenting local players with the chance to compete with punters from across Europe for amazing cash prizes. It is convenient that the Dublin leg of the tournament is held this week, just days after the GUKPT cancelled its stop in the city.
As a result, the pool of players in the UKIPT Dublin is going to be much larger than expected. The main event features a cap of 1000 players – and while the event was previously expected to produce less than that, it is now likely that the cap will be met.
The main event is a €700 + €70 No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em game; however, there are plenty of other events available for players with modest bankrolls. Buy-ins for the events in the UKIPT start at just €50, so casual players can even join in on the action for their chance to hit a big payday. There is also a high roller event with a €2000 buy-in, for players who crave a little more excitement.
It is certainly going to be an exciting week of poker in Dublin. Check out PokerStars’ blog for more information and updates on the action.
