Inspiration for Aloha: Cluster Pays seems to have come from Hawaii and from the Tiki gods which you can see in the statues and masks which are still present on the islands.

You have one of those Tiki Gods right next to the reels actually, with a big smile on his face, animated after each spin and celebrating with you when you get a win. The beautiful Hawaii is visible in the game and pretty much all its symbols are inspired by the Tiki gods and by the local flora.

How To Play It

The game might be unusual, but from the player’s point of view it’s not going to play any differently. You still have to decide on a bet, and then you click on the Spin button, and that’s it.

The rest of it plays by itself and rewards you if you’re lucky. This being a Net Entertainment title, you have the Level of the bet (coins per line) and the Coin Value at the bottom.

The game needs a minimum of 10 coins to get things started. Increasing the level will multiply that number, taking it up to 100 coins per spin. You will find the game’s Spin button in the middle of the bottom row.

While the area with the betting options looks standard for NetEnt, graphically as well, the game area offers a lot of colors, with bright pinks, orange and purple all being used. Special Features

Though it has a lovely design, the area where the game really shines is in the way it plays and the features it offers. I’ll start with the cluster pays, which are mentioned in the title.

There are no regular paylines in this slot, or even ways to win. Instead, combinations are formed with symbols from multiple reels, which are touching each other and are on consecutive reels. The symbols come in stacked, so it’s easier for them to form clusters of identical symbols.

The Question Mark wild is also a stacked icon, and it looks at the symbols which are near it, and then it turns into one of them if this helps you, by adding to a winning combo.

The free spins are also offered, like in most games these days. 9, 10, 11 or 12 spins are given if you have 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatter symbols marked Free Spin, respectively. You get an advantage while in free spins mode, with lower paying fruit icons dropping off and their place being taken by Tiki Masks which have bigger payouts to offer.

A Sticky Win triggers at random, but when you do get it you will be very happy. It leaves the symbols from the round’s winning combo in place, making them sticky, while the rest of the symbols re-spin for free. If additional matching symbols appear near the sticky cluster, they too are made sticky and part of the win.

Each time you get additional symbols for the cluster, you also get an additional re-spin. This stops only when you no longer get extra symbols to increase the payout. It can even continue until all 30 positions are occupied by the same symbol, bringing you a huge win.

Wins of up to 100,000 coins are advertised by the developers, which with a level 10 wager would mean a 10,000x multiple of the line bet.
