Bounty Pop is from the series of slot machines, ranging from PopRocks, to WildPops and Cherry Pop. It’s more of a pirate theme that we’re discovering in Bounty Pop, though it also looks almost like an anime design, so it’s not the traditional look that we’re seeing here.

Well enough designed, particularly when you’re checking out its character symbols, but I’m not as impressed with the Royals which are also present on the reels. In total, there are 4 low symbols and 7 high ones (pirates, using swords, bombs and other weapons).

The actual developer for this game is AvatarUX, but you will often see it advertised as a Yggdrasil title, since it’s included in their YGS Masters program. These two companies have also collaborated in the other PopWins titles, and I’d recommend them as well, if you enjoyed this one.

How To Play the Bounty Pop Slot Machine

You are allowed to pick the wager for the next spin, and the exact amount which will be used has a range of £0.20 to £20.

The slot’s going to give you 5 reels, with a total of 243 ways to win (or 486 ways to win, since they’re forming combinations both ways). You just need 3+ matching symbols starting from either side, and going over just as many consecutive reels.

Special Features

A huge focus for Bounty Pop is going to be on a mechanic called PopWins, which we’ve seen in other slots of this series. To get it going, you first need to form winning combinations via the regular ways to win. As you do so, the winning symbols pop, and in their place come a new series of symbols. The extra bit is that this mechanic also boosts the number of ways to win, by giving you one additional symbol on that reel. As the reels can get up to 6 symbols each through this method, there is potential to have up to 7,776 ways to win active during your regular spins.

You’re going to have access to free spins as well, but first you need scatters landing 3 to 5 times, all at the same time. Depending on the trigger, you can get 6 to 12 rounds to play through. A gamble mechanic is included, so if you don’t have the maximum number of scatters, you can still get 12 spins if you’re lucky.

For this mode, they’ve allowed the reels to expand further, to as many as 9 symbols each. This allows the ways to win to go as high as 59,049. A bonus is that the size of the reels doesn’t go all the way down after a spin without a win. They just take the smallest reel size from the game area, and they take down the bigger columns to match it.

Provided that you get to the maximum size for all reels, there will be an additional feature, in both regular and free spins. It’s a Mystery Wheel Multiplier, which has two wheels to spin, and can bring multipliers of up to 100x.

Maximum Payouts

A modern slot machine, with a lot of great features and big multipliers, Bounty Pop has awesome potential as well. 55,000x the stake is one of the bigger payout potentials you will find in a slot machine right now. Its RTP is adequate, at 96%, but do expect very high volatility and a punishing base game (20% of all spins will pay, on average).

Summary

Bounty Pop is an excellent title in the PopWins series, and it proves once again that these games can be excellent competitors to the much more successful Megaways slots.
