Pirate From The East takes one of the very common slot machine themes around, and it turns the pirates you see on the reels into characters of Asian origins. It’s not something you get to see often, the pirate genre is mostly associated with the West, but that’s what makes this game interesting. I don’t love the awkward cartoon-style design that NetEnt put together for this one, but I like the premise.

15 lines being in play, the number of coins being used each round can’t be lower than that. As you increase the bet level, you get to use more coins though, anywhere from 15 to 150 for bet levels 1 through 10. The only other bet related option will let you select the coin value, and since it goes from $0.01 to $0.50,  you can have a total bet of up to $75, while the starting point can be as low as $0.15.

Special Features

Several features are introduced here to make the action interesting, and one that you’re likely to see often is the wild symbol, shown as the Pirate with an Eye Patch. This wild symbol is not just a substitute, it also adds a 3x multiplier to the winning combinations that are formed with it inside, so the payout potential for regular symbols is boosted significantly at that point.

There is a Female Pirate as well in the game, and in her symbol you will notice the Scatter logo, so once again it’s easy to see which feature it brings you.
