The Bounty Slot Machine – Free Play & Review
Originality is not a big thing for The Bounty, the latest slot machine crafted by Snowborn Games for Microgaming. Wild West robbers, lawmen, and the guns which both are using, are the stars of The Bounty. While the theme itself can be popular even though it’s very common, they’re not helping it much with the design, and I’d say that it’s one of the least interesting titles we’ve seen in this category lately.
As for what those symbols are, you will notice a couple with the sheriff’s badge, in silver or bronze, along with images of the various characters from the game. There will also be a series of lower value icons, which show actual playing cards as support for the Royals, which are much more interesting as a result.
Developer
Snowborn Games is the game’s designer, but it’s an exclusive title for Microgaming, and we’ve seen this sort of collaboration play out several times in recent years. The platform that Microgaming operates has dozens of these games so far, with mixed results.
Basic Information
How To Play It
Covering 15 lines, your wagers in The Bounty may start from just $0.15 per spin ($0.01 per line). Increase it up to $45 per spin, or $3 per line.
With its 5×3 reels, the game offers only 15 active lines for you to explore. There is nothing too special about it, you form combinations like in most other slots, with 3+ symbols of the same type on an active line.
Special Features
There will be two types of wild symbols in The Bounty. One of those will have the Sheriff Badge in silver, and it will be either a substitute, or it will form combinations of its own. In the latter case, it pays as much as the top symbol, which would be 100x the stake.
The second wild, is the one with the 2x on it, which tells you what it offers extra. It’s a multiplier wild, which doubles payouts that it contributes to.
There will be scatters as well, and with their help you can get access to a bonus game called Ambush. The symbols in question can appear on reels 3-5. You start with a 2x multiplier, and 8 free spins, but more can be won. You can get 1 extra round for each bullet icon, and a +1 multiplier from each dynamite stick that lands.
As for the jackpots, those come via a bonus game, called Bounty Jackpot. You need a stacked Bounty icon covering reel 5, in order to reach this feature and the 10 free spins which are included. You have to collect Posters in this mode, to get jackpots. If there are Golden posters collected, you double the value of the jackpot, and this can be done twice. Thus, a jackpot of up to 1,250x the stake can be turned into a 5,000x prize.
Maximum Payouts
The top prizes of this slot machine will be coming from its Bounty Jackpot feature, which can pay up to 5,000x the stake. Regular combinations offer up to 100x the stake per line, and up to 3,000x per spin with the help of wild multipliers.
Long-term, the player’s odds are OK, since the RTP it works with is at 96.08%.
Summary
The Bounty might have some interesting features and even top rewards, so it could be a good pick for players, but looking at its graphics, you can tell that it’s one of the least fun options available to you in the Wild West category.
