The Pacific islands and the tropical vibe that you get whenever they’re mentioned, will have a major impact on the look of Tiki Reward. A big part of its focus is going to be placed on the Tiki statues and the art that those islanders left behind. They did a decent job with the design and features, though I’ve seen better looking Tiki games over the years.

How To Play It

Decide how much you’re willing to spend for a single spin, select that value, and you’re good to go. The minimum bet possible is $0.20, while the maximum one is $100.

With a game that offers 50 active lines on 5×3 reels, there should be decent odds that you will form combinations, provided that you have the 3+ required symbols arranged left to right, on consecutive reels and on the same line.

Special Features

The list of special features is not long, but there are a couple of them present, and they can prove useful.

The wilds take the form of the Tiki symbols, four of them available in total, and which can land on the reels 2-4 only. There is a chance that a multiplier will be applied by the wild as well, which will double the prize value for the combinations it contributes to.

Should 3 scatters symbols (Free Spins logo) land at the same time on the reels, you trigger 7 free spins. The game will select a Tiki symbol at random, from the three lower value ones (green, blue or red). The chosen one is present alongside the higher value Golden Tiki symbols, on the reels 2-4. Since there are fewer types of Tiki symbols, there are better odds for their jackpots to trigger.

Tiki Jackpot can be accessed if you have three Tiki symbols of the same type, so either gold ones or the one that was chosen in the beginning to replace the other two. The one that you’re after is the Golden Tiki, since it will pay 1,000x the stake. It’s a lot less exciting for the others, which pay up to 30x the stake.

Maximum Payouts

Your target in Tiki Reward, should you choose to accept it, is worth 1,000x the stake ($100,000 cash, at most). It’s not the type of payout that you’d be impressed with, and the game has high volatility as well, along with a low hit frequency rate (1 in 4 spins is a winner). Ultimately, it’s the average Return to Player that will tell you if a slot is fair, and the 96.32% of Tiki Reward looks good enough.

Summary

Tiki Reward is not a great game, and I’d mention its graphics, top prizes, low hit frequency and even its high volatility among its downsides. You will find better slot machines out there, with similar themes, if the tropical vibe is what you’re after.
